For the last decade there has been a steadily increasing number of courses on offer at the Adult Education Institute in Lingen.
We provide educational opportunities for human beings and view ourselves as a place intended for general education as well as further education of skills.

300 part-time course teachers and 55 full-time employees provide for a vast variety of courses.

At the moment we are offering 700 courses to choose from.
These courses are devided into different areas:

• Local History and Geography
• Politics, Economy, Pedagogic
• Sciences
• Foreign Languages and Culture
• Health, Psychology, Philosophy, Domestic Economy

At our Educational Centre for Information Technologies (b.i.t.) we are running all kinds of computer courses, from elementary up to advanced courses.

There are courses specially determined for women, elderly people as well as for children and young people.
People who are not able to go to courses in the daytime will find a comprehensive course offer in the evening.

Since recently we have been offering several online courses. The e-vhs-akademie makes it possible to enroll for various language- and computer courses.
