| Lingen is a small town in the north of Germany, about 150 km south from the North Sea. Of course it has got its own VHS - adult education center, as there are VHSs throughout Germany and almost every small town has its own one. So, wherever you live in Germany, there will be an adult education centre nearby. For the last decade there has been
a steadily increasing number of courses on offer at the VHS in Lingen.
We provide educational opportunities for learners and view ourselves as
a place intended for general education as well as further education. Our training programme includes
subjects like: At our Educational Centre for Information Technologies (b.i.t.) we are providing all kinds of computer courses, from elementary up to advanced courses. There are courses specially developed for women, elder people as well as for children and young people. Since recently we have been offering several online courses.
